The location for the shoot was scouted prior to committing to ensure that there was sufficient light available in the spots and that there actually was still a telephone box in the area
Statement of intent was to shoot a series of images that represented waiting for a date, wondering what was happening, to realising that it was going to be a no show, to telephoning to see what was happening and the final answer not turning up
Felt that would swap from colour to black and white when the date had failed and that the telephone box and phone worked better than a mobile for the surroundings
Final image chosen was the final one that represents the upset and unhappiness created by the event
