A guidebook made with love about the City of Brotherly Love. Always in the shadow of its glamorous big sister New York, Philadelphia is not really the most popular target for tourists or even Americans. The city as a whole has its dark sides, however, it can be surprisingly beautiful, funny and special. Our chosen slogan therefore was "Sometimes the sum of the parts is greater than the whole." Pointing out the secret spots of the city in a casual way, as if guided by a friend, was the goal of this guidebook. Explore, shop or rock the city like a local and find out about some big personalities that did their first steps in this city: Philly-locals like Bill Cosby, Billie Holiday and Will Smith appear on hand drawn illustrations. Note and blank pages, games and QR codes with videos or further information ask the reader to interact with the guidebook. Read Less
