Acetate cyanotype outputs

Acetate cyanotype outputs
For the acetate print the images must be inverted and changed to greyscale. This then allows the image to be inverted and printed onto acetate to use on the cyanotype print. When the acetate is applied to the prints and exposed, the lighter parts of the image will let the might through and the darker sections will be exposed less, leaving the image behind. (This process was discussed and presented in the previous folder)
This is the developing process of the prints under the UV light in the light tent, I also experimented with using the sunlight to develop another set of images. The sunlight images took longer to develop as it wasn't a particularly sunny day.
Above is the process of washing the images off in a bath of water, the water needs to be changed after the first wash. This allows the images to develop better when they have been washed twice.
This was the first experiment for the outputs of the cyanotype prints using the acetate. I feel as though they were very successful as the images are very defined. The process has worked well and I will continue to experiment with them in the future.
