안노 히데아키의 'Neon Genesis Evangelion' 시리즈의 마지막을 장식하는 영화인 'The End of Evangelion'에 대한 헌사를 표하기 위해 시작한 개인 작업입니다. 작품의 원작을 고증하여 실사화하고자 했습니다. 또한 작품의 독특한 세계관과 디자인을 영상 초반부에 보여주고 후반부로 갈 수록 빠른 씬 전환과 카메라 무빙으로 숨겨진 비밀들에 대해 보여주고자 했습니다.
겁많고 두려운 주인공 '신지' 가 여러 시련을 거쳐 진정한 어른으로 거듭난 것처럼 전세계의 수많은 신지들이 성장하길 바라며 그들에게 이 영상을 바칩니다.
This is a personal project that I started to pay tribute to The End of Evanglement, the film that marks the end of the series by Hideaki Anno. I wanted to test the original work and turn it into a real life. I also wanted to show the work's unique worldview and design at the beginning of the video and show the secrets hidden by faster scene conversion and camera movement as I go to the second half.
Just as the weak and scared Ikari Shinji is reborn as a true adult after many trials, I hope that many Ikari Shinji from all over the world will grow up and support them with this video.
