Learning about the Ken burns affect was interesting, It mostly reminded me of how a 2d video game would look like when playing it. Giving life to a 2d object or picture has it's own charm to it. Especially being able to bring life to photos from back then makes it even more amazing. I personally would use it as a template of a "my life in a nutshell" kind of format and video to showcase in a unique and fun way of how someone's life folds out and how they got to where they were now. I would possibly use this style maybe for what I just said or maybe it could be used to parody Lego figures and turn it into a movie. I believe I remember lots of different movies and even the Lego Movie use this effect in it when they explained battle plans or funny back stories or even just character's imaginations. It is a charming and unique style that has the ability to capture the essence of comedy in seriousness in a way. I enjoyed learning about it and will now recognize the style for 3 months to a year now.
