What I have learned during the process?
What impacted me the most during the process is that it's not easy and that you have to take into fact that you need to constantly interview other people to obtain feedback and, in turn, improve your design. In this sense, it's like critiquing art.
Even though it may be tedious to do, it's beneficial in creating a design that is easily accessible to the people. Another you have to remind yourself is that it's not your work anymore, it's the people's.
Overall, it's a great experience to learn and improve upon.
