Japanese Notan

This project was made in our first design class, it resembles the technique of Notan which translates to 'black and white'. For this project specifically, we were tasked with cutting shapes out from the black paper and flipping them on either side to create a Yin Yang contrast. I chose to do a folk story of the classic cliche, cows being beamed up by aliens... for some reason.
