For my project "Basquiat Trucking Logo," I began my first attempt into graphic design using Adobe Photoshop. The task was to create a logo for a made-up trucking company, as if it were owned and operated by the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Getting Basquiat's style right was the real challenge. The feeling of how his pieces look on canvas was difficult to capture digitally. I drew inspiration from one of his 1982 pieces featuring a big, bold head. This project taught me a lot about how Photoshop works and gave me a new appreciation for mimicking different artistic styles. Admittedly, this is one of my school projects that I am the most proud of.
