This short profile tells the story of Doris, a mother of two, who in a brave effort to save her young family drove her vehicle off a bridge into a river to avoid a head-on collision and imminent death at the hands of a drunk driver.
The family survived, but costmetic injuries robbed Doris of her confidence and self-esteem. After receiving treatment at San Jose Clinic, a nonprofit clinic supported financially by The Methodist Hospital System, she now faces the world with renewed confidence and the inspiration to enter the dental field.
