For this project, I intended to create a piece that was inspired by IoT (Internet of Things). An article I read, "What is the IoT? Everything you need to know about the Internet of Things right now", written by Steve Ranger, talked about how the IoT connects to just about anything you could think of, which inspired me to make this project, which consists of earth captured in a microchip, to show how the internet is interconnected throughout the whole world. I'd never had any experience with Illustrator before and definitely struggled with this piece, but I also learned many tools and ways to use Adobe that's not just with Photoshop.
