For this project we had to represent emotion through line. These photos show the entire creative process behind this project. The focus was on the sketching and ideation process that designers go through, and how to refine your works until you're satisfied with the final draft. Created February 20th, 2024 using Sharpie and Posca paint markers, for a Design Fundamentals class.
The first step was brainstorming various emotions and brainstorming how they would be represented through the DRAWS principles, as well as defining them and coming up with synonyms.
For the next step I generated a materials list and started some rough sketches of these emotions using line.
This was my rough draft, as I began narrowing down my ideas and refining them.
