Womanhood Hotline- A BNV Performance 2014

This performance and poem was written and directed by me (Lee Mokobe). The performance was done by Zandile (Athandwa) Myeki and myself (Lerato Lee Mokobe). The topic was a satirical view at how usually woman or feminine people deal with sexual harrassment in public. The piece was performed in Philadelphia in 2014 at the Brave New Voices International Poetry Competition. We placed second in the world for youth poetry. We also made history by being the first African country to ever make it to finals stage since the inception of the competition in the 90s.
