The building illustrated is a Grade II Heritage structure in Worcester. Formerly the Church of St Nicholas, it now operates as The Slug and Lettuce Pub. Its architecture showcases a Classic Baroque style, inspired by Gibbs’s Book of Architecture from 1728. I created this sketch using a combination of pen drawing and watercolour painting, emphasising detailed line work and the application of colour.
