Faucet photography is one the most challenging kinds of photography. because of the reflection and the convex shape, they reflect surrounding area hundred times on their bodies. It needs good lighting and hours of editing. (lots of editing)
This project was one the best projects that I’ve ever had. the clients needed catalog design and product photography. It is very enjoyable when you are both taking pictures and designing.
For photography I created a wooden frame box, then I surrounded the box with white cloth and I made a hole in a wooden board so that I could install the faucets on it. About 300 products were photographed and something around 1800 images were captured (for image stacking).
