This project was created as part of the Ideas Competition of the Hotelkompetenz Zentrum Germany.
The „Seensucht“ project is a conceptual draft for a resort of the future - specifically for the needs of generations Y and Z. These generations value unique experiences, independence, a connection to nature and the vacation feeling by the water.
The Seensucht Resort consists of twenty individual houseboats, provided with a functional kitchen, modern sauna, sky lights and lots of windows for an idyllic view of the lake. The houseboats are equipped with modern technology like an electric motor, autonomous driving, greened outside walls and a one of a kind docking system, that allows all houseboats to connect - all operated with one dashboard.
The main building serves as an entrance point to the resort since it connects the mainland to the water. Visitors have the opportunity to lounge in the big lobby, dine in the restaurant or enjoy their quiet time in the grand library.
This project placed 2nd in the Ideas Competition of the Hotelkompetenz Zentrum Germany.
