PackPal: User Centered App

The PackPal app makes creating packing lists easier and more accessible. To use the app, the user can create lists by adding items and subcategories or generating lists using information put into the app. Within each list the user is able to check and uncheck the items they have packed and create outfits for specific days and events. The app also includes an AR feature that shows the user how to pack a specific list into a scanned luggage item. Alongside this, there is a section of the app where the user can find and search for articles that inform them of different packing tips and tricks. Lastly, there is a profile section where the user can add new users, locations, bags, and outfits. Within this section, the user is also able to create reminders to pack specific items in lists before they leave for their trips.

Selected screens can be viewed below, but the app includes 416 screens in total, so be sure to click through the linked prototype or scan the QR code below.

The name PackPal was chosen to make it a more approachable app for all kinds of users. Its goal is to create a more enjoyable packing experience by lightening the load and providing helpful ways for users to pack. Instead of just being an app for creating packing lists, it is a friendly addition to users' entire lifestyle. With turquoise colors and rounded corners and typography, the app achieves this.
