Visual deception and the elements were the two key concepts I worked with to reflect the title of the album. 

 

The cover depicts a picture within a picture of Oreste, the artist caught red-handed with a silver goblet. It's a Narnian type scene though instead of visiting an alternate reality through a wardrobe, the viewer is invited to visit through an ornate picture frame. Outwith the frame is Autumn, within it's Winter. It wasn't snowing at the time of the shoot so to create the illusion Oreste scooped some snow from the ground into the goblet and threw it above him which I photographed as it fell.

 

The back contrasts the cover by showing the same scene from the opposite direction with opposite weather conditions and displays the opposite side of the frame which holds the track list in the form of a hidden note. 

 

The disk was a play on scale and designed to look like a miniature traditional vinyl lp.
