The wedding invitation is crafted in the style of a vintage cinema or theatre ticket, evoking nostalgia and charm. We decided to go for four different premium textured papers to match with the overall vibrant wedding theme. We picked pink + blue to go with bride’s bold and vibrant personality and for the boy's shy, subtle, and earthy nature, opted for softer tones like greens + browns. The illustration in the centre tells a story of the bride and groom when they first met, globe in the corner says how their lives revolve around each other, leaves and flowers represent the traditional Maharashtrian wedding elements. At the top of the ticket, the names of the bride and groom are elegantly printed in bold, artistic fonts. The ticket invitation is delicately wrapped with a transparent gateway paper in a rustic thread, symbolising the bond and unity between the bride and groom. The thread is tied in a simple bow knot, adding a touch of whimsy and elegance to the invitation. Marigold and jasmine flowers, a traditional element in Maharashtrian weddings symbolising prosperity and happiness, adorn the invitation. The combination of premium textured papers, vibrant screen-printed colours, and silver foil accents results in a wedding invitation that not only reflects the personalities of the bride and groom but also exudes elegance, style, and attention to detail. It's a keepsake that guests will cherish and admire, setting the tone for a memorable Maharashtrian traditional wedding celebration.
