Unit2-38 Cambridge tony's tour.

14\02\24

Our trip to Cambridge is an opportunity to visit Kettle’s Yard where we will be able to see the House and the exhibition Making New Worlds: Li Yuan-chia & Friends. We will also get as chance to look around the historic centre of Cambridge. In the afternoon we will visit the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and The Fitzwilliam Museum.

What impressed me most during this trip was this installation made of wood, which uses gravity to sway to form random pencil drawings, giving gravity a shape and enhancing the interactivity of the work, allowing viewers to participate in the artwork. The only thing I think needs to be strengthened is the control of the pen, because the pen will become loose when I am operating it, which will cause the painting process to be less than ideal.

What also impressed me was this blanket-like device. It rotates, and behind it is a box of small tomatoes. This device advocates recycling. I think it can show more of the box of small tomatoes at the back, because I think that's also the highlight of the work, and a lot of viewers may miss it.

The plant room on the second floor is very beautiful. The hanging concave and convex mirrors not only amplify the light, but also add a dreamy color to the entire plant room, which is very beautiful.

I like the little man hanging on the window very much. It adds to the fun of this house. Life often needs these interesting embellishments.

I like three groups of sculptures very much. They are abstract human bodies. I like artworks about the body more. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s a feeling unique to women.

We went to a museum in the afternoon. There were many fossils of creatures in it. I felt very romantic. I recorded the scene with stones and couldn't help but take pictures.

Because I majored in jewelry design, I really like all kinds of rough gemstones. They are all so beautiful and I really want to own them. It seems that I have to work hard to make money.
