Craft Beer Branding Campaign

Craft Beer Branding Campaign
This project involved finding a craft beer company, (in this case Roadmap Brewing Co.), and creating 2 new craft beer flavors for the company; this involved creating the beer can labels, as well as posters for each new flavor.

Each flavor that was chosen had an automotive theme, and that theme was carried throughout all branding elements.
FLAVOR 1
The first flavor created was "FLAT OUT STOUT," with the type and imagery being inspired by the racing posters of the 1940s and 1950s; with very stylized, paint-brushed cars, racing along picturesque, European locations, while maintaining a modern, simple type to still maintain modern trends, complete with custom letters for "FLAT OUT" on the label itself.

The second flavor created was "URBAN VELOCITY Lager," with the type and imagery being inspired by the retro styles of Japanese street car magazines, inspired by the grainy, blurry photos from the Japanese car culture in the 80s and 90s, creating custom type for "URBAN VELOCITY Lager," inspired by illegally made stickers for the infamous "Midnight Club" street racing club; using blocky text with kanji-inspired symbols.

I also used a specific photo and heavily altered it to fit with the low-quality photos which the branding overall took inspiration from.
