I did a small and brief character study on the outward emotional change of the men who perform in Drag. I gave them no instruction other than "I'm photographing your portrait, so act natural."

 

I found it fascinating that while he is out of the makeup their expressions are shy and somber but the minute the wigs are on it's a whole new person shining through.
