Kinetic Typography
Inspired by Judy's inspirational speech from a pivotal monologue in the movie Zootopia. The golden thread is accepting life's intricacies and realising that, despite personal differences, we are all connected by humanity. A lively and varied colour scheme from the film was carefully chosen to visually communicate this idea. Playful fonts like Ruddy and Omnes with different weights were also used to add flair, signifying the variety of experiences that exist in real life. The dynamic and captivating visual experience created by the kinetic typography techniques—zoom, flip, scale, mask, and others—mirrors the erratic nature of in-person interactions. The audio of Judy's inspirational speech combined with the transitions reinforces the project's objective of fostering understanding and connection by adding to the overall spirit of inspiration and encouragement. A visually stimulating and energetic experience is ensured by the smart use of motion transitions and audio timing elements, which also help to symbolise the fluidity and connectivity of numerous elements in real life. This harmonious combination of fonts, colours, motion designs, and audio components successfully communicates the project's main points, which are to embrace variety, acknowledge our common humanity, and support sincere attempts to fill in the gaps and create connections in the intricate fabric of real life.
