Growth zone project: water color

This Was a project entirely created to help me branch out and grow as a creator by attempting a art project in a medium I lacked experience in, so here is how my first water color painting went.
The plan was to gather supplies and have a week and a half to work on different iterations of my watercolor paintings as I improved through sketching and painting. By the end I wanted to have 3 sketches and 3 paintings with multiple practice runs.
sketch was supposed to be hills and a lake at night with a nice campfire in front.
this was the sketch I had done to figure out what I wanted to do, but I realized there were some hurdles to get over.  Only did one sketch when I realized that the way I had intended to sketch and fill in the sketch required materials that were to pricey (I'm broke) and I had a very limited set of supplies and the brushes weren’t all that great (still broke). beside this I think they mostly went well
The first art piece was great but definitely showed my lack of experience. but was a good step towards learning how to water color paint.
Attempt #2 was definitely a attempt of learning more than the others. Colors were just not placing how I wanted and my cheap brushes were starting to show. Still the time-lapse was fun to create and I still learned a lot from this
This was the final product! Not what I had envisioned but I was really proud of how much I learned on my own. How to handle the brush and how to get certain things to mix. My land could use some work but I really enjoyed how the sky turned out.
