For this project, I chose to focus on my boyfriend. I decided to do multiple portrait clips of him and put them into one video instead of doing one long video. I think that this was the best way to do it with him to be able to better capture his personality and see who he is as a person. I chose to shoot this video of him in an environment where he was comfortable and you could see more of his personality, which is him with a beer at home with our dog, watching hockey. I think with me being behind the camera talking to him and shooting these clips in a place where he felt comfortable was the best way for me to accomplish this video portrait project in a way that was genuine and raw.
