BrainSTARS, an education company based in Bangalore, sends out a desktop calendar every month, featuring their mascot, Kudums. For the 2014 Semptember Calendar, the theme was Teachers' Day, and we chose to look at five well-known scientists and a philosopher, and the pedagogical relationships they shared with their mentors.

 

The calendar itself was an illustration of all twelve characters, and Kudums, while the stories of the individual scientist-mentor pairs were uploaded as separate illustrations on the BrainSTARS facebook page, with reference links for further reading.
