Our mission is to develop an exclusive prosthetic hand for surfers according to their comfort, necessities, feelings and of course, their life style.
We want the prosthesis to be part of the surfer body, so we designed it functional but always connected to the sea wave, The design shows some sea components like the wave and the sea colors
The Name
Cutback is a surfing trick or maneuver that keeps the rider in the power of the wave. After gliding out past the breaking whitewater section of the wave, the surfer guides the board back toward the whitewater. This not only prolongs the length of a ride but also gives the surfer more possibility for speed and maneuverability.
It also represents the rebirth of the lost hand (back) because with it you will feel the same as in the past.
Silicone rubber
This silicone tacky feel, allows the surfer to have a good grip on the table when making the take off
The silicone stripe is attached on the board with a sticker platform like the surfboard grip, it ensures the take off zone of the surfer
Ratchet mechanism
The prosthesis has a ratchet mechanism, with strips mad of plastic to adjust it
