A conceptual hardback cover design for Chuck Palahniuk’s cult classic Fight Club. Drawing on the theme of chaos and mayhem, he book is wrapped in a sandpaper jacket, with the title and author name screen printed onto the front.

 

When placed on a shelf between other books, the sandpaper cover will damage the other covers every time it is removed and replaced, allowing the reader themselves to “destroy something beautiful…”
