Scandinavian Travel Magazine
Spring 2024 Typography II
Objective
The assignment for this project was to create a magazine with a topic of our choice and design its layout, maintaining awareness of typographic and spatial detail. I chose to design a Scandinavian travel magazine called "Vandra", which is the Swedish translation of the word "wander". This magazine is geared towards tourists who are looking to immerse themselves into Scandinavian culture. This project truly helped me to push my boundaries and create interesting title treatments for each article, and to use images in a way in which they do not simply exist in a rectangle.
