In the series, we produced 05 of 5-minute length videos to capture the latest happenings at Worlds23 during The Swiss Stage. These videos offer a unique perspective through our VCS on-the-scene reporter and official host, Remind.
So how it's like to be at the biggest LoL event of the year and to be a traveler in Korea?
Remind brought fans to hangout on-site, meeting the greatest teams and their players, exploring Korean cuisine at local night market, and so much more! Especially it's a great way for fans to get to know more about 02 VCS and its representatives at Worlds23 - GAM Esports & Team Whales.
Episode #1 - Hangout with captain Levi at LoL Pop-up Store
In Seoul, as we all gathered, Captain Levi from GAM Esports graciously took some time to join us at the largest pop-up store in Lotte World Mall. We shopped some gifts for VCS fans, those included in a lucky draw on our local broadcast channel. During our time together, Captain Levi shared insights into the pressure, effort, and determination that Vietnamese teams are channeling at Worlds23.
Episode #2 - Hangout with GAM CEO - TK at LoL Park
Korea's esports industry is renowned, and one of Seoul's iconic spots for LoL gamers is LoL Park, the arena that hosts live broadcasts of the LCK. During our visit, TK - the CEO of GAM, shared his vision for Vietnam esports, expressing the hope that one day Vietnam could have an arena like LoL Park. It must have been inspiring to hear about the dreams and aspirations for the future of esports in Vietnam.
Episode #3 - 'Rock the cup' party with Gen.G - Worlds22 Champion
It was a tremendous honor to receive an invitation to the Gen.G viewing party, Rock-The-Cup. Following the festivities, we had the privilege of visiting their headquarters to gain insights into their training model. We also learned about their efforts to support students passionate about esports by having special scholarships at colleges and universities in the U.S. It must have been fascinating to see firsthand how Gen.G is shaping the future of esports and education.
Episode #4 - Korean delicacies and meeting GOAT FAKER!
This episode was a feast for the senses as we indulged in the delicious local Korean cuisine, especially is the BBQ. Adding to the excitement, we had the incredible opportunity to interview the Greatest-Of-All-Time player, FAKER, and hear his insights on the tournament. His heartfelt words to Vietnamese fans made this episode the talk of the town for the entire week. It must have been an unforgettable experience to interact with such a legendary figure in the esports world.
Episode #5 - Korean traditional hanbok day with Remind before meeting international Hosts
Remind embarked on a cultural journey as we explored Gyeongbokgung Palace, embracing the beauty of Korean traditional hanbok attire. This serene experience preceded our encounter with the famous hosts from various regions worldwide. The hosts shared insightful thoughts about our region - VCS, undoubtedly leaving a lasting impression on the international stage. It must have been a memorable and enriching day steeped in both tradition and anticipation for what lay ahead.
