Design of the musician's visual ecosystem
The client is engaged in writing electronic music with a lot of organic elements like piano, ambient noises or strings, with tape hiss and vinyl noise for texture.
He wanted to reflect his music through the japanese type of design where there is some supplementary text which is not just the artist name and track name, but also location, time, synth, format information. Also his wish was to include some warmer colors to the color palette, such as deep reds, oranges, and yellows as accents to add interest and contrast to melancholic visuals. Therefore, the project presents many gradients that change the various accents of the music affecting the mood.
As a logo development, it was decided to combine a musical pseudonym encrypted in Morse code and something related to music, so it resembles a sound wave and has a hidden meaning - each “column” reflects an encrypted Morse letter.
