4.13 travel and tourism

Sadly this place isn't on my doorstep but I was away when it was time to take these pictures so here we go.

This is Interlaken in Switzerland, looking down the river towards the church, with the cloud-wreathed snowcapped mountains in the background. This spot was just as peaceful as it looks.

To get this shot I did a lot of footwork and a lot of zooming. The reflections were so lovely that I settled on this level of zoom to make sure they were part of the image. It was a very bright day which had its own challenges.

I like the number of colours in this image when you look closely - on first impressions it seems blue with a bit of green but there is red, orange, pink in there too.
