Brutalism emerged as a modern architectural movement from the 1950s to the mid-1970s, influencing applied art later on. Today, it's a popular style, particularly in posters, which I'm deeply inspired by. I've noticed parallels between this genre and elements of Hindu mythology, which inspired my design for a brutalist poster.
