I was sitting in a cafe and a local Islander walked in who I saw a lot. She got really excited and told me that there was a walrus in the next town over. I looked at my friends and we nodded. We made the quick drive and pulled up where other people were gawking to see this gentle giant resting on the rocky beach. News travels fast through small communities.
