Heaven is a mindset. I aimed to design a poster that was attention-grabbing while also being ethereal. I decided to have clouds in the sky as the backdrop with stars looming over the type to make the viewer feel like they are crossing Heaven’s gates. I then chose a bold typeface to capture the significance of the message. I decided to use orange to further emphasize the type, and to represent the optimism heaven represents. I created light trails connected to the type that flowed to the end of the composition to illustrate ascension into a heavenly state of mind.
