Brief
The client, having two kids, needs to redesign their private house façade & landscape in a welcoming approach, so that they can arrange meetings as well as parties with friends & families in the backyard.
They emphasize on open accessible outdoor to/from the backyard with a proper lighting design, water features, greenery. The region in focus is hot with seasonal heavy rain for 4 months.
Design Concept
The main idea is to design a warm elevations with a distinguished treatment of lighting taking into consideration the constraints of the existing building typology. The massing & additions to the exterior are carefully -designed to meet the local regulations at the same time give the impression of verticality & rhythm.
