Video projection of the participants only using their cellphones to communicate. A mix of cellphone audio rings and beeps were also used in the room for the multi sensory experience.  

I realized I couldn't just show the problem, rather, I had to solve at least part of it. My solution? Phone coasters that had witty reminders on them about putting the phone down while at the table.

The coasters were constructed out of cork and pasted paper. 

Upposed to a curtain of some sort, my solution to blocking the light out of the room was to utilize the logo set that I had designed. They comprised of different quotation marks that were happily rounded rectangles (which happened to be the same shape as the glass window panes) modeled after the Twitter interface/cellphones.
