Budapest
The waiting is over - the first travel of the year is here. We are going to Budapest! We are thirsty to look at navigation, take pictures, eat palačinky, and practise Hungarian: "kettô Vilmos". The faces of travel_girl and travel_boy in action:
The first evening was one for the books. We were running a week for these pancake intakes. Well deserved:

Found it! Also in the first picture: when you have the tower on point and the breeze is a paid actor to show off your sexy knír. Oh yeah!
Asking people to make your photos can be quite fun! It is the quickest 10-second tutorial you need to give them about your camera (you need to mention that you want the view also!) But, try to spot someone who already has a small camera in hand, like the ladies we have asked, and the results are very nice :D

We are also part of the art here. Aleš, the future gardener, likes the details of a Munkácsy painting:
Not too impressed with the stuff though. It's mostly we watching them, rather than they watching us. There is a saying: when the cat is out, the mice "are at the circus":
We really liked these two Munkácsy pieces, powerful colors, and amazing decor.

A nice view of Budapest. A few more floors lower there is a spa, where we enjoyed one of the Turkish baths, the Rudas. Kind of adventurous :P Let's say Aleš has a new set of swimming outfit (since I forgot his swimwear, we didn't bring towels and there was a mismatch at the flip-flops). We have nice souvenirs :))
