TZFM201 Spring Team 1 Week 4 (landscape photography)

Starting the day with a totally different location and plan, then talking to my next-door neighbour with his suggestion of a place along the coast but has a pain in the whatsit road to get too. Well, I took his advice and found his total dream location, with both landscape/ seascape, and wildlife in abundance.  The time was just before lunch, but the sun was obscured by cloud (Skye in April with lots of rain). The weather on arrival became dry, and the results speak for themselves.
The time and weather fairies all played with me, blustery cloud with definition, stacking and rising on their thermal updrafts. The wind direction was straight onto land adding more cloud stacking movements. I exposed for the cloudy conditions with a highish ISO 250 on App Priority f/22 at 1/75sec to give me that edge on depth of field.
What would I have done differently, take more advice from people who know the area, all I had was an OS Map, a few publications of special photographic spots on Skye. The reason is that they have lived and played in this location all their lives.
