Rebranding: Cine Doré


The main objective of this project is to transform the perception of the new generations towards the Cine Doré, and therefore, towards the Spanish film archive. Renowned for its eclectic program, which ranges from classic cinema to auteur and independent productions, the Cine Doré is much more than a place for film screenings. It is a space that hosts a wide range of cultural events and diverse activities that enrich the cultural panorama of the country.

To achieve this purpose, we created the concept "The cinema that projects us". Our visual rebranding strategy seeks to merge the modern with the old, drawing inspiration from the contemporary vibe of iconic films that revitalize classic styles. Likewise, we rescued the identity of its well-known façade so that the Cinema's communication and its aesthetics, transporting us to the charm of Art Nouveau.

As far as the colors are concerned, we have divided four colors, assigning one to each part of this institution:
Pink, being the main one, refers to the color of the building.

Merchandising.

Billboard and program.

Posters.
Black, representing our cinemas, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the screen and appreciate the projection in
the best possible way.


Film credits.
Tile, evoking the old Spanish dictionaries, alluding to our official bookshop.


And finally, blue, echoing the electric blue tiled decoration of the cinema's cafeteria.
