Confront - A Face a Day (2016)

This project delves into my identity and mental health, following my diagnosis with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Surprised by the prevailing ignorance about mental health, I aimed to demystify its stigmatization by presenting it as a relatable topic through my artwork. This series particularly focuses on self-image—a key aspect of identity that I struggled with post-diagnosis. By drawing self-portraits daily for three months, I captured the fluctuating nature of my self-perception, illustrating how closely self-image and identity are intertwined.
