2019年8月1日、葛尾村にて。この先に「DASH村」がある。ゲートに立つ警備員は二人。左の女性は排気弁付きのマスクを着用し、個人線量計で被曝量を測定しながら仕事をしていた。右の男性はごく普通の不織布のマスクで、個人線量計も身に付けず、被曝管理はしていなかった。同じ場所で仕事をしていながら装備が違うのは何故かと問うと、男性は「雇い主が違うから」と答えた。なるほど、左の女性は「JV（ジョイントベンチャー）」のマークをつけた2次下請け、右の男性は明らかにそれよりも下の雇用主のようだ。給与もおそらく違うだろう。搾取の構造がここにもある。
August 1, 2019 in Katsurao-mura. The "DASH-mura" is just up ahead. Two guards stand at the gate. The woman on the left wears a mask with an exhaust valve and was working while measuring her radiation exposure with a personal dosimeter. The man on the right was wearing an ordinary non-woven mask, did not wear a personal dosimeter, and did not control his radiation exposure. When I asked why they were working in the same place but wearing different equipment, the man replied, "Because we work for different employers." I see, the woman on the left is a second-tier subcontractor with a "JV (joint venture)" mark, while the man on the right is clearly a lesser employer. Their salaries are probably different as well.
