Creating a Fresh & Modern Website Design for a
Malay Radio Station with Adobe XD
Hey there! I'm excited to share how I'm using Adobe XD to craft a brand-new website design for our Malay radio station. With Adobe XD, we can bring our vision to life with ease. Here's how I'm doing it:
Planning the Layout: First, I sketch out the basic layout of the website, keeping in mind our goal of a fresh, modern, and minimalist design. I decide on the placement of key elements like the navigation menu, featured content sections, and player controls.
Choosing the Right Elements: In Adobe XD, I explore the built-in library of UI elements and icons to find those that match our design aesthetic. I focus on clean and simple components that will contribute to the minimalist look we're aiming for.
Creating Wireframes: Using Adobe XD's wireframing tools, I create rough outlines of each page of the website. This helps us visualize the structure and flow of the site before diving into detailed design work.
Designing the Visuals: With the wireframes as a guide, I start adding visual elements to the design. I choose a modern color palette that reflects our brand identity and incorporate subtle textures or patterns inspired by Malay culture for a unique touch.
Typography & Text: I select sleek and legible fonts for the website's text, ensuring readability across different devices. Adobe XD makes it easy to experiment with different typefaces and sizes until we find the perfect combination.
Adding Interactivity: One of the great features of Adobe XD is its ability to create interactive prototypes. I add clickable buttons, navigation links, and interactive elements like dropdown menus to simulate how the website will function.
Testing & Feedback: I share the prototype with team members and stakeholders to gather feedback. Adobe XD allows us to collaborate seamlessly, making it easy to incorporate suggestions and iterate on the design until it meets everyone's satisfaction.
Final Touches: Once we're happy with the design, I add any final touches and polish to make sure everything looks cohesive and professional.
