DIDOT: SPECIMEN BOOKLET
I aimed to convey the feeling of a neoclassical and elegant old French booklet that flows together with a modern and unconventional twist. The use of a two toned limited color palette enhances this vision. Inspired by the way Didot was used in old French papers.
Shows knowledge of typography and its elements. Displays ability to research and present information.
I used a lot of negative space in large dark areas juxtaposed with positive space on light areas to create visual interest. Focused on an asymmetrical balance while remaining harmonious and cohesive. Displays my knowledge and execution using compositional strategies. For those passionate in typography.
Created in InDesign. Doubles as a printed booklet piece with proper specifications.
