Zaanstad, City vision for 2100. TU Delft, MSc Urbanism


This Atlas is a part of the Q1 «LowLands» studio at TU Delft track of Urban design with a central approach to the city through an understanding of morphology and form. The study of the main elements of physical form on different scales and time is at the core of the studio.
 
The analysis and design proposal on a city scale is for one of the cities in the North of the Netherlands, Zaanstad with a time perspective of 75 years.
The individual approach of the Atlas is based on a selected guiding theme of Spatial segregation, leads to a design proposal, which also includes the group vision project that helps to enrich the vision and see different perspectives.
