Pocket Retro
The audience for my image set is retro computing hobbyists and I intend for the audience to feel inspired and curious about the computer I feature. Similar to the photography in magazines like ‘Make’ or ‘Hackspace’ that have inspired me.

Six product photographs in a commercial style depicting the features of this thirty year old pocket computer, to accompany an article about how it is connected to a modern computer (via a modern USB cable)

I will capture the images in a studio, likely in the afternoon from a close position in landscape or square aspect to allow usage in articles or social media. The images will be staged to achieve a clear depiction of the product, without distractions.  I will aim to capture the compact and practical nature of these computers. They contain many ideas we can still learn from today.

In sharing these photos useful in another hobby, I want to start making my photography part of my practice in other hobbies, and to share some of my enthusiasm in a way that is visually appealing.
