Fire-fight 2060

Can we imagine a future where water is a luxury good?
What if the world of tomorrow were subject to disproportionate droughts?
What if forest fires were to devastate our forests even more?

This project is a vision of the evolution of the firefighting profession based on gas compression technologies (nitrogen).
Perhaps technological innovations will enable us to compress nitrogen sufficiently to obtain 1 km3 of gas in a one-litre bottle.
This would make a huge difference to firefighting equipment.

The aim of this project is to anticipate the innovations, research into uses and potential issues if firefighters no longer used water but compressed nitrogen.
As an industrial designer, I focused on firefighters as the main target for user research, understanding how they process, what their codes and issues are, before proposing a concept vision.

Thank you for looking at this project. I'm open to your comments and suggestions.
Thank you to the Firefighters of France who supported and helped me throughout this project and all the people I interviewed.
