Conference on Interslavic Language (CISLa)

Conference on Interslavic language in Ljubljana

Interslavic is a language understood by all Slavs. It rooted in centuries of geographical proximity, shared history and common cultural heritage of all Slavs. Interslavic is based on linguistic similarity, because the Slavic language family is essentially one large continuum of closely related dialects with a relatively high degree of mutual intelligibility. The goals of Interslavic are covered by the keywords: communication and education. (Jan Van Steenbergen – one of the creators of the Interslavic language)

This project is a concept of the new Conference on Interslavic language (CISLA). The main goal of this project was not the unification of Slavic cultures into one object, but the process. Such branding, based on typography, which does not borrow existing elements from Slavic cultures, allows to create the foundation for a new culture based on the principles of communication and interaction.
