UAV Kontur

The unmanned aerial vehicle "Kontur" is designed to provide monitoring of the territory and conduct video surveillance in accordance with a given program. The design of the drone was developed by specialists from the Siberian Design Centre commissioned by the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI).

Depending on the configuration, the unmanned aircraft can be equipped with: a hydrostabilized searchlight, a loudspeaker, a target and thermal imaging camera and a parachute rescue system. The task of the project was to develop a hull design based on the existing layout.

The main challenge was to strike a balance so that the unmanned aircraft would look harmonious in different configurations, as well as to ensure easy access to replacing parts of the quadcopter. It was also necessary to take into account the safety requirements issued in the form of special inscriptions and placed in clearly visible places on the product.​​​​​​​

Harmony in any configuration. The case is made in a strict adaptive design, which makes it harmonious in any configuration. Graphic elements convey important information about the drone and guide you on how to handle the equipment. ​​​​​​​
