The transcendence of the ordinary face mask to an ornamental and sophisticated object.

Taking inspiration from the already existing but unexplored world of alternative facial jewels, Post-Pandemic jewelry is worn over the nasal bridge and secured from the ears as if it were a face mask, one of the objects that formed a fundamental pillar for everyday life during the covid-19 pandemic at the end of the year 2019 and in subsequent years. 

There is no doubt that the prolonged period of the pandemic marked a before and after for those who experienced it, so I have conceived the concept of transforming and adapting an object that encapsulated us for years so that today it fulfills the new purpose of beautifying our visage.

The development process of the three jewelry pieces that comprise the project begins with an extensive exploration using Fabrie's image-generating artificial intelligence, resulting in a vast number of possibilities and iterations. After categorizing and refining the results provided by the artificial intelligence, the most feasible ideas were identified, and the design process began based on them.
