"TerraZen Courtyard" combines "terra"" meaning earth or land, with "Zen," a concept derived from Zen Buddhism that represents peace, balance, and harmony. The name suggests a serene and harmonious courtyard space integrated with the natural elements of the earth. It conveys a sense of tranquility, grounding, and a connection to nature, reflecting the designs emphasis on a peaceful and balanced living environment.

The design makes use of the cut-and-fill plot of the topography and takes into account wind flow restrictions on the sides to create a courtyard that smoothly links with the internal space. The balcony and roof slope are positioned to take advantage of the best sun path and magnificent vistas. Raw touch materials are added to the model to give it vitality and a natural, dynamic design.
